Onboarding requirements

What we need
to switch you on.

USSD onboarding — shared or dedicated — is subject to KYC / KYB verification. Submit the documents below for your entity type. Setup begins once everything is received and payment has been confirmed.

Limited liability companies and other entities registered with the Registrar of Companies.

Business documents

  • Certificate of Incorporation
  • Certificate of Commencement
  • Form 3 (RGD business registration)
  • GRA Tax Identification Number (TIN)
  • Register of Members / shareholding structure
  • Proof of business address
  • Board resolution authorising account / service opening

Director & Ultimate Beneficial Owner (UBO) verification

  • Ghana Card (National ID) for every director and UBO
  • Proof of residential address for every director and UBO

Business information

  • Description of business activities
  • Nature of the USSD use case
  • Expected monthly transaction volumes and values

Service activation is subject to successful KYC verification and approval upon receipt of all required documentation.
